On May 31st from 12-2pm, Yards Brewing Co and University of The Sciences (USciences) will host a Homebrew Analytics Event, maybe the first of it's kind in the philly area.
For $15 homebrewers will be able to bring samples of their beers to be put thru a gamut of tests that will be helpful in furthering brewers knowledge of their craft and put them further on the track to brewing incredible beers.
USciences/ Yards will provide 6 or 7 analytical services which can be rapidly performed, most of which will be handled by the operator not the patron. Each brewer taking part in the workshop will also receive a complimentary Yards beer.
The workshop is in place to build awareness of University of the Sciences upcoming launch of their Brewing Science Certificate Program, an 18 credit program, which is the first of it's kind in the Philly area. This program is an important benchmark in Philadelphia's ever evolving craft community.
Space is limited due to resources and time, so if you're interested please pre purchase, as tickets for homebrewers at the door are not guarenteed.
Extras samples are encouraged and hopefully share with others in a bottle share format, to which there is not cost/ corkage fee that afternoon.
